Kamloops Village Garden
My experience working at a Kamloops Village Garden was truly a wonderful experience that helped me discover my passion for teaching and helping children. Working with the young students each day, I loved seeing their curiosity, enthusiasm, and joy as they learned and played. Whether I was assisting with activities, reading stories, or guiding them through new tasks, it was an incredibly fun and rewarding time to watch their growth and excitement. This experience showed me how impactful it can be to support and nurture children during their early years, and it inspired me to pursue a path where I can continue making a positive difference in their lives.
Nannying/Assistant
Over the past three spring and summer seasons, I have had a wonderful experience working as a nanny and assistant for a family. It has been incredibly rewarding to care for the child, help with daily routines, and organize fun, engaging activities to keep them entertained and active. I enjoyed building a strong bond with the family and watching the child grow and learn over the years. Whether we were playing outside, doing crafts, or reading stories together, every day was filled with special moments. This experience strengthened my passion for working with children and further developed my skills in caregiving, organization, and creating a positive, nurturing environment.
Mexico
My trip to Mexico with my family was an unforgettable experience that reminded me of the importance of family bonding, which has always been a huge part of my life. Spending quality time together, exploring new places, and sharing laughter and stories strengthened our connection and created lasting memories. This value of building strong, meaningful relationships also relates to my passion for teaching. Just as I cherish the bonds within my family, I strive to create a supportive, nurturing environment in the classroom, where students feel seen, heard, and encouraged to grow both academically and personally.
